RICH: "I grew up in San Francisco, which is probably one of the largest Salsa communities in the world. However, there were so many things to do that I was never drawn to the music or the dance itself. I had plenty of Latin American friends who danced, but I always preferred Hip Hop. Living in Bangkok, I found myself seeking something constructive to do with my evenings. I wanted to meet new people and develop quality relationships with people of all backgrounds. Once I began to learn Salsa basics, I began to crave more. I aspired to be a better dancer and this drove me to spend countless hours practicing and multiple nights social dancing per week. Salsa has connected me with people from all over the world and the thing I love most about it is that it's a universal language that I can speak with people no matter where they are from. It has changed me and changed my life forever."
